"But the standout performer of the evening was Carelle Flores, whose Musetta was enchanting, fun, lively and empathetic. Her energy and apparent joy in being on stage were like spotlights on talent. Her well-produced voice carried her above the vocal lines into the true character of Musetta." - June Lebell, YourObserver.com
"As Barbarina, soprano Carelle Flores was excellent." - Review of Le Nozze di Figaro, Palm Beach Daily News
"Mozart has set up a vocal mini-Olympics for the soprano. Carelle Flores had warmth, power and almost steely precision in the daunting coloratura passages." - George Walker, Review of The Abduction from the Seraglio IU Opera, indianapublicmedia.org
"As the manipulative party girl Musetta, Carelle Flores sang with a bright, intense voice and dead-on intonation. Her portrayal convincingly showed her transformation from swaggering flirt to the woman of warmth and decency of the last act." - David Fleshler, South Florida Classical Review
